Marathon held in Palwal to make youth aware about drugs
Palval. Half Marathon was organized by SPS International School located in Sector-2, Palwal under the banner of Drug Free India and Akhand Bharat. The marathon race was inaugurated by flagging off by Palwal MLA Deepak Mangala and Hathin MLA Praveen Dagar, BJP State General Secretary Veerpal Dixit. Thousands of youth participated in the marathon race. On this occasion, an oath was also administered to the youth to stay away from drugs. On this occasion, dignitaries including Suresh Bhardwaj, Chairman of SPS International School were present.
Chairman of SPS International School, Suresh Bhardwaj, said that the purpose of the marathon race was to free the youth from drug addiction, to bring together the society divided into different parts and to give a message of unity. He said that through marathon running, awareness will be generated among the youth and our society will become stronger. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Chief Minister Manohar Lal are making tireless efforts to make the state drug free. He said that the winning participants in the marathon race have been honored with cash prizes. Aradhana Pandey, who got first place in the marathon race, said that she participated in the 10 kilometer marathon race. He said that players should stay away from drugs. Through the marathon, people have also been given the message to stay away from drugs.
