Broom
According to Vastu Shastra, broom is directly related to Goddess Lakshmi, apart from buying gold and silver on the day of Dhanteras, buying broom is also considered very auspicious. While cleaning Diwali, keep in mind that old brooms should not be thrown outside the house on Friday and Thursday. Thursday and Friday are considered the days of Goddess Lakshmi, so take special care of these days.
Cody
Kodi is related to Goddess Lakshmi. It is believed that by offering cowries to Goddess Lakshmi, financial problems go away. If you find an old conch shell or cow during Diwali cleaning, do not throw it out even by mistake. Both these objects are symbols of Goddess Lakshmi. These should be washed and kept in the home temple or some holy place.
Peacock feather
Finding a peacock feather during Diwali cleaning is considered very auspicious, peacock feather is very dear to Lord Krishna.
