Smuggler arrested in Raipur railway station, ganja worth Rs 2.5 lakh found in trolley bag

Raipur: Smuggler has been caught in Raipur railway station with ganja worth Rs 2.5 lakh. RPF said that during platform checking, pole no. under the foot over bridge at the Bilaspur end of platform number 02/03. Near 05, a person was caught in a suspicious state with a maroon and purple trolley bag with him. On being interrogated, he told his name and address as Aamir, father – Ismail, age – 22 years, Sakin-Nai Basti Mohalla, Upraus Kasba Maudaha, Police Station- Maudaha, District-Hamirpur (U.P.).

Then when he was interrogated, he was told that the trolley bag contained the intoxicant ganja. Whose price is Rs 2,40,000/- (two lakh forty thousand rupees only). Regarding which, on inquiring the above mentioned person, he was told to bring the said ganja from Khariar Road Railway Station to Raipur.
