The polling team conducted the voting by climbing a high hill

Ambikapur. Home voting was started for the first time in Chhattisgarh Assembly elections 2023. In which members of the polling team have reached the homes of disabled and elderly voters to cast their votes. The polling team reached people’s homes several kilometers away through inaccessible roads and voting was conducted by turning the house into a polling station. This initiative of the Election Commission showed immense enthusiasm among the voters. Voters and their families praised the Commission for this and thanked them for this facility.

Walking on inaccessible roads, polling teams reached remote villages to conduct home voting. In home voting, the polling team climbed a 5 km hilly road and reached Sukni, an 81-year-old voter of village Barauli of Lundra assembly of the district, for home voting. This initiative of the Election Commission has provided immense convenience to such voters through home voting. Now the counting of voting done through these postal ballot papers will also take place on December 3.
