4 new dengue patients found, CMHO confirmed
Durg. In various areas of the district, including Bhilai Municipal Corporation area and Durg Municipal Corporation area, the work of control and prevention related to dengue is being done continuously by the Health Department and Municipal Corporation staff. Today, on November 10, 2023, 04 cases of Dengue ELIZA positive were found.
At present the number of Dengue ELIZA positive admitted patients is 04. Out of them, one patient was found in HSCL Colony Sector 6 Bhilai, the second patient was found in Sector 6 Bhilai, the third patient was found in Sector 07 Bhilai, and the fourth patient was found in Maroda Sector Milai. Mosquito source control work has been done daily by the field staff of the Health Department by going door-to-door in the residential areas of all dengue patients.
By the team of Municipal Corporation Bhilai, Charoda, Risali Public Health Department, Bhilai Steel Plant and Municipal Corporation Durg, fogging work is being done continuously in dengue affected areas with Temiphos to destroy larvae and Malathion to destroy Aedes mosquitoes.

If the appeal is not accepted, if larvae are found in a house for the first time, then the Municipal Corporation employees will give advice and if larvae are found for the second time, a fine ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 5000 will be levied, for which the responsibility will be on the individual.
