Information about Ultraviolette F99 electric bike revealed

New Delhi.Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler start-up Ultraviolette Automotive has successfully made its European debut at EICMA 2023 by unveiling its most ambitious project to date, the Ultraviolette F99 racing bike.

The F99, which was presented at EICMA, was apparently meant for track use only and came with skinny tires and had no mirrors or space for a number plate. It looks sharp, inspired by fighter jets, with large winglets and a UV light signature built into the headlamp housing.

At the heart of the motorcycle is its new liquid-cooled engine that produces 120 hp (90 kW) of maximum power, a significant improvement over the road-going F77. The F99 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, which is about 5 seconds faster than the F77, and can reach a top speed of 265 km/h, making it the fastest Indian car from any manufacturer so far. The start-up said it plans to commercially launch the F99 worldwide by 2025. While it remains to be seen whether the F99 will remain a track-only project until it is fully ready, there are clear indications that Ultraviolette may do so. A more road-friendly model of the F99 is being introduced as a natural extension of its production line in the future. Ultraviolette also confirmed that it will launch the F77 in Europe in the second quarter of 2024.
