Woman’s severed head and hand found, police reaches murderer

Kanpur: Police has revealed within 24 hours the murder of Kanpur woman Rajni in the forest of Korsam village of Kalyanpur police station area of Kanpur. Three accused were arrested and at their behest, the woman’s severed head, both her hands were severed, the bike used in the murder and the crime were recovered and the accused, the deceased’s brother-in-law Shivram, Jairam and nephew Avinesh, were presented in the court from where all three were sent to jail. .

SP Udayshankar Singh said that the woman was from Hathipur village of Maharajpur police station area of Kanpur. The fourth accused is absconding. Police teams are deployed to arrest him. SP said that the woman was murdered by her family members. The head and severed hands of the deceased were recovered from a well in Khajuha forest of Bindki.

After the death of Rajni’s husband Dayaram in 2015, she started living separately from her in-laws. Father-in-law Rameshwar left the property in the name of three boys, after which Rajni complained about it to the police administration.

The accused had murdered Rajni by strangulating her in her house. Rajni also had a scuffle with the accused. Then the accused kept the dead body in a sack and along with it brinjals were kept in a sack. They reached the forest of Korsam village with the dead body, to erase the identity, cut off the head and both the hands with a banke in the forest itself, took these pieces and threw them in a well in the forest at Khajuha in Bidkin.

The matter reached the police station, where the police made a compromise and got Rajni three bighas of land in which she used to do farming. Due to this matter, Rajni’s three brothers-in-law Shivram, Jairam and Siyaram started getting angry. There were often debates also. In this anger, a plan was made to remove Rajni from the way. Shivram’s son Avinesh was also involved in the murder.
