The bride ran away after being fed with intoxicating food after marriage

Mainpuri. Police have arrested seven members of the gang of a bride who disappeared after getting married, fed her relatives intoxicating food and stole household goods. Which includes five women. The bride and her two companions are still absconding. Who are being searched. The accused are residents of different districts. Shishupal Singh, resident of village Dharau of city Kotwali, has been living with his brother-in-law Nitish Kumar in village Ramganj of Ghiror police station for many years. In January 2023, Beaver, resident of Sandeep, contacted Nitish and said that if you spend 80 thousand rupees, I will get your brother-in-law Shishupala married. A poor girl is in my sight. Nitesh gave 80 thousand rupees to Sandeep. On February 8, 2023, Shishupala was married to a girl named Renu at Kapil Muni Ashram in Bewar. The relatives bid farewell to Renu and took her to their home in Ramganj.

Three days later, at night, the bride Renu made the entire family unconscious by mixing intoxicants in the food and disappeared with the cash and jewellery. In the FIR of the incident, apart from Sandeep, Nitish has named Arvind and Usha Devi residents of Karidi Jaria Hamirpur, Mohammad Arif resident of Shastri Nagar Bata Basti Jaipur, Najma resident of Pandeypur Cantt Varanasi, Sushila resident of village Karma Sonbhadra, Ranu Begum resident of Raparganj police station Raipur Sonbhadra, Brijmohan resident of Dikhtmai police station. A case was registered against Beaver Mainpuri, Julie resident of Niwazganj Chandauli and bride Renu. The police was busy searching for the accused. ASP Rajesh Kumar said that information was received on Thursday evening that a gang doing fraud in the name of marriage has come to Ghiror area to make another person a victim of fraud. Police arrested Najma Begum, Sushila, Usha Devi, Ranu Begum, Julie, Sandeep and Arvind who were part of the gang. Whereas the bride Renu has not been traced yet. Even after much interrogation, the arrested accused did not give any information about the address of the absconding bride. The police is busy searching for him.
