Builder murder: Shot dead in the middle of the road, 5 including woman arrested
Patna: Bihar Police has claimed to have solved the murder case of Patna’s famous builder Alok Sharma. On the day of Dhanteras, Alok Sharma was gunned down by professional criminals. It has been said that Alok Sharma was murdered by the brother of his deceased friend Mantu Sharma.
Patna SSP Rajiv Mishra said that five accused including a woman have been arrested in this case. According to the information, Sanjeev Sharma, brother of deceased Mantu Sharma, feared that Alok Sharma had got Mantu murdered. He suspected that Alok had thrown Mantu out of the way due to a dispute over distribution of money in the business and had stolen crores of rupees. That’s why Sanjeev had targeted Alok Sharma.
According to the information received from the police, Sanjeev Sharma had given a contract of Rs 10 lakh to the sharp shooter for this. Bike-riding criminals shot Alok Sharma, a resident of Maurya Vihar of Phulwari Sharif police station, in broad daylight on Friday. Builder Alok Sharma was shot near Chulhaichak in Rupaspur police station area of Danapur. He was taken to a private hospital in Raja Bazaar but the doctor declared him dead.
Earlier in the month of December, Alok Sharma’s friend and partner Mantu Sharma was shot dead. He was also a land businessman and builder. Patna Police has told that to avenge the death of his brother, Sanjeev got Alok Sharma murdered. He suspected that Alok had got Mantu killed.
According to information received from Patna Police, two pistols and two pistols have been recovered from the arrested criminals. It is being told that some criminals involved in the incident are still out of the reach of the police. Raids are being conducted for his arrest. The police have also arrested a woman who was involved in this. Police are investigating his role.
