Liquor shops will remain closed from 15 to 17 November

Sarangarh Bilaigarh: Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui, in view of the announced voting for the Assembly General Elections 2023, all country liquor shops (CS-2 GHG), composite liquor shops (CS-2 GHG Composite) and foreign liquor shops (FL-1) operating under district Sarangarh Bilaigarh. A dry period order has been issued to keep DDD completely closed from 48 hours before the end of polling (5 pm on 15th November) till the end of polling on 17th November 2023. Sale of liquor will be completely banned during this dry period.

Similarly, Bargarh District Collector of Odisha has issued an order to keep 20 nearby liquor shops belonging to Sarangarh, Bilaigarh district and Mahasamund district closed during the said period.
