Complaint filed against OP Chaudhary in the police station
Raipur: State Congress Committee Sports Cell President Advocate Praveen Jain has filed a complaint against BJP candidate OP Chaudhary from Raigarh in the Chief Electoral Officer and Police Station Khamhardih, Raipur, demanding his disqualification. In his complaint, Praveen Jain has posted the video of female mountaineer Yashi Jain on the social media platform by OP Choudhary, in which senior leaders of the Congress Party are appealing for votes for themselves by putting photos of Assembly Speaker Dr. Charan Das Mahant and me. Which has been seen and heard by thousands of people.
When Yashi Jain and his father Akhilesh Jain were asked for clarification in this regard, they replied in writing that this video was not made by Yashi Jain. This video was prepared by OP Choudhary to take political advantage by quoting part of a non-political conversation with journalists at a program and the photos of Congress party leaders have been misused in it to mislead the public. He said that OP Choudhary is using this fake and misleading video to gain political mileage. This has dealt a blow to the well-planned election campaign of the Election Commission and the election has been corrupted. Also, due to this video going viral, the image of Congress party leaders is getting tarnished among the public. The said act is a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct and is also a conspiracy to mislead the voters. In the complaint letter, Praveen Jain has demanded to take strictest action against OP Choudhary for forgery, fraud, forgery, defamation and conspiracy and to disqualify him.
