Subrata Roy passed away
New Delhi: Sahara India Group chief Subrata Roy passed away on Tuesday. He breathed his last in Mumbai. He was ill for a long time. Subrata Roy, the head of the Sahara family, was suffering from a serious illness for a long time. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai. His mortal remains will be brought to Sahara city in Lucknow on Wednesday, where tributes will be paid to him.
Subrata Roy Sahara was born on 10 June 1948. He was a leading businessman of India and the founder of Sahara India Parivar. She was also known as ‘Saharashree’ across the country.
