65 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza
Tel Aviv: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the deaths of two more soldiers in Gaza on Monday, bringing the total number of soldiers killed in the Hamas-controlled territory to 65 since the start of the ground offensive on October 27.
In a statement, the IDF identified the two soldiers killed as Staff Sgt. Devir Barzani (20) of the 890th Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade and Sergeant Yinon Tamir (20) of the same battalion.
While Barzani is from Jerusalem, Tamir Pardes is from the city of Hanna-Karkur.
They were both killed in fighting in northern Gaza, the army said.
At least 387 IDF soldiers have been killed since Hamas launched its unprecedented attack on the Jewish state on October 7.
