Congress is running away from people’s questions: Jairam Thakur
Mandi. Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said that after running the government for one year, the Chief Minister cannot turn away from the public issues by taking the name of BJP every day. Firstly, the crushers of Beas Basin were closed, due to which the prices of construction materials for the disaster affected people increased manifold. Then there is talk of opening the crusher. Jairam Thakur said what is the Congress doing which has been running the government for one year. Nothing is going to happen through word of mouth. The government should talk about the facts in this matter and take action against those who are guilty in this matter. Nothing will be achieved by merely making statements.
The Leader of Opposition said these things while talking to journalists in the class booth empowerment campaign training class of Mandi BJP Yuva Morcha. The Leader of Opposition is currently on a tour of Mandi district. On this occasion, District BJP Mandi Nihal Chand Sharma, State Convener of this section from Yuva Morcha and State Vice President Sunil Negi and other officials were present with him. The Leader of Opposition said that the crusher is being targeted and shut down. The common man suffered losses due to this. The government should have thought about this also. The names of the crushers have been given to the teams by marking which crusher has to be closed and which crusher has to be closed. Jai Ram Thakur said that elections for mayor and deputy mayor have not been held in four out of five municipal corporations in the state.
