Silver utensils and jewelery looted from film producer’s house
Mumbai: A theft took place at the house of film producer Suryaveer Singh Bhullar in Lokhandwala, Andheri. Silver jewelery and other silver items worth Rs 2.43 lakh were stolen. A case has been registered against homeowner Ramsubhag Yadav alias Subhag for alleged theft.

According to the FIR, 54-year-old Bhullar is a resident of Lokhandwala but he and his wife spend most of their time in Ahmedabad. Bhullar had hired Yadav to take care of his flat. Yadav cleans the house two to three times a week, but Bhullar comes daily when he is in Mumbai.
In May 2023, Bhullar’s wife kept silver jewellery, silverware, watches and other valuables in a wooden cupboard in the bedroom of their home.
On November 22, Bhullar’s wife informed him about bringing silver utensils to Ahmedabad. When Bhullar opened the cupboard and picked up the bag containing the jewellery, he realized that it had no weight, which raised suspicion. Upon inspecting the wooden box he found nothing inside.
Bhullar registered a case under section 381
Bhullar reported the loss of one silver thali, four silver plates, five silver earrings, two ladies’ watches and three men’s watches worth Rs 2.43 lakh. She accused her maid of stealing jewelery and other items.
Bhullar registered a case against Yadav under Indian Penal Code section 381 (theft by servant) at Oshiwara police station on Friday.
