Mohan Bhagwat talked about Indian traditions
Bangkok (ANI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday said all ‘sampradayas’ in Indian traditions lead to one thing, they purify you.
“All sects in Indian traditions, they lead to one thing, they purify you… We have to reach out to them. There are a lot of Hindus… we have not touched yet. We will not have any movement or movement or a group which is very powerful among the Hindu society. We will be (one) group which will expand and organize the entire Hindu society. We have to go everywhere, touch everyone. He may agree on some things, he may not agree on some things. But we have to connect everyone to this stream because it is our duty to execute it,” the RSS chief said while addressing the ‘Vishwa Hindu Congress’ in Bangkok, Thailand.
“Today’s world is tottering. For 2000 years they have done a lot of experiments to bring happiness, joy and peace. They have tried materialism, communism, capitalism… They have achieved material prosperity, but there is no satisfaction and no solution.” (A solution),” he said.
He said all Hindu traditions started from the same point and have different ‘darshanas’.
The World Hindu Congress, held every four years, is being hosted in the Thai capital. The event, organized by Vishwa Hindu Foundation, began on Friday and will end on November 26.
He said, “We have Dharma Vijay, the victory which is based on Dharma, the process which depends on “Dharma Niyamas” (Dharma rules) and also the resulting Dharma which is duty.”
“People try to fight and dominate each other to acquire all the means of material happiness… We have experienced this, the second is ‘Dhan Vijay’ – to acquire all the means of material happiness, but the intention is not good , the intention is self-centered. We have experienced ‘Asura conquest’ – they invaded other societies. We have experienced ‘money victory’ for more than 250 years, India was looted,” Mohan Bhagwat said.
Meanwhile, expressing happiness over the scheduled consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 next year, Swami Vigyanananda, founder and global president of the Vishwa Hindu Foundation (WHF) and chief organizer of the Vishwa Hindu Congress, on Friday said the ceremony will be held in Bangkok. It will be telecast live and Hindus from all over the world will gather at the event and perform kirtan, bhajan, puja and recitation.
Speaking to ANI, Swami Vigyanananda said, “We have ordered prasad (food offered to God) from Ayodhya. A replica of Ayodhya temple has been made here. We have also brought an image of Ram Lalla’s birthplace from Ayodhya. Copies of the image will be shared with all delegates (conference attendees). “The atmosphere of celebration in Ayodhya before the consecration of the Ram temple should spread across the world.”
World Hindu Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on arts and culture. It was established in 2009 and is headquartered in New Delhi. The theme of this year’s Vishwa Hindu Congress is ‘Jayasya Aayatanam Dharma’, which translates to “Dharma, the abode of victory”. (ANI)
