4 people died tragically in a horrific road accident
Azamgarh : Three youths died in a horrific road accident on Saturday (25 November) in Azamgarh district of UP. All three were riding on the same bike. Everyone had gone to attend a wedding procession. While returning home from the wedding procession, the bike collided with a truck parked on the side of the highway. All the deceased are residents of Chanaita village of Atraulia police station area. Azamgarh police sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem.
Police said, the deceased include Ghanshyam (22 years), Omprakash (18 years) and Sonu Verma (25 years). All three had left home last evening on the same motorcycle to attend the wedding procession in Tanda. All three were returning home by bike at night itself. Meanwhile, his motorcycle went out of control and rammed into a truck parked on the side of the highway near Ambedkar Nagar Baskhari town on Varanasi-Basti National Highway 233.
All three were seriously injured in a road accident. The police was immediately informed. Police reached the spot and sent all three to Community Health Centre, Baskhari. While being taken for treatment, all three died on the way. After the accident, the driver fled from the spot with the truck. In this regard, Police Station Head JP Yadav said that on the basis of the complaint filed by the deceased’s brother Santram, a case has been registered against the unknown vehicle. Similarly, a youth resident of Gambhirpur police station area of Azamgarh died on the way. He had gone to attend the wedding ceremony on a motorcycle. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
