Jal Board employee arrested for taking bribe of Rs 10 thousand

Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths on Saturday arrested an employee of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board after he accepted a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a person.

Accused K Yadagiri Reddy, manager (engineering) of HMWS&SB of Ramanthapur section in Amberpet, demanded bribe money from a person for making corrections in the records.

Based on a complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught Yadagiri red handed while accepting the bribe amount. Officials said further investigation is underway.
