President Murmu reached Bhubaneswar, will participate in ‘Boita Bandana’ festival
Bhubaneswar: President Draupadi Murmu reached Bhubaneswar this evening. He was welcomed at the airport by Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti Bishweshwar Tudu and others.
After landing at the airport at 6 pm, she left for Raj Bhavan, where she would spend the night. This is his second visit to the state this month. She last visited the state on November 20 on a three-day visit.
The President is scheduled to participate in the ‘Boita Bandana’ festival in Paradip organized by the Paradip Port Authority (PPA) tomorrow on the occasion of Kartik Purnima.
Later, she will inspect harbor craft before addressing members of the fishing community. After the address, she will leave from Paradip at 3.55 pm and reach Bhubaneswar at 4.35 pm.
The President will leave for New Delhi from Bhubaneswar at 4.45 pm.
