BSF soldiers arrested three people including Bangladeshi smuggler
Kishanganj. The 17th BSF Corps has achieved great success in stopping smuggling on the Kishanganj border. Based on secret information, BSF soldiers have arrested a Bangladeshi smuggler and two Indian smugglers.
BSF issued a press release from DC Branch General Headquarters Kishanganj. Mukesh Kumar Singh’s special message was given to the head of the General Department of 17 Corps. Subsequently a team under the supervision of Inspector Ram Shiromani and a General Department team under the command of Sunil Guard Squadron from Malaghati Corps Border Base jointly conducted an ambush at the expected location. The same smugglers used to cross the border taking advantage of darkness and fog. After a long ambush on the border, this group systematically arrested a Bangladeshi smuggler and two Indian smugglers. The smuggled goods included a WB92C 7954 bicycle, four mobile phones and alcoholic beverages, four bottles and a cutter. Managed to compensate.
A press release said 17 Corps Commander Ajay Kumar Shukla immediately escalated the matter to SHQ Headquarters and appreciated the success of 17 BSF Corps in stopping a large-scale smuggling conspiracy. The investigation against these three smugglers is still going on.
