Sultanpur court summoned Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi. Rahul Gandhi’s troubles are increasing. Rahul Gandhi has been summoned by the Sultanpur MP/MLA court on charges of defamation by making objectionable remarks. Sultanpur MP/MLA court has summoned Rahul Gandhi on charges of defamation by making objectionable remarks against Union Home Minister and former BJP President Amit Shah. The court has ordered to issue summons to him. Vijay Mishra, former president of District Cooperative Bank, resident of Hanumanganj of Kotwali Dehat police station area, filed a defamation case against former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi on August 4, 2018.
On May 8, 2018, Rahul Gandhi had made indecent remarks against the then BJP President Amit Shah in a press conference in Bangalore. Not only this, Rahul Gandhi had defamed Amit Shah by calling him a murder accused. In this case, Vijay Mishra had filed a petition and summoned Rahul Gandhi in the court, demanding a trial. Petitioner’s lawyer Santosh Pandey had argued on the summons. Along with petitioner Vijay Mishra, the court also considered the testimony of witnesses Ramchandra and Anil Mishra as important. On Monday, the special court accepted the allegations against Rahul Gandhi as prima facie true and ordered to summon him for trial. The date of hearing in the case has been fixed for December 16 and an order has been given to issue summons. Due to which Rahul Gandhi’s problems may increase.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s problems may become even more serious. A court in Sultanpur has summoned MP/MLA Rahul Gandhi for defamation for making objectionable remarks against Union Home Minister and former BJP President Amit Shah. Vijay Mishra, former chairman of District Cooperative Bank and resident of Hanumanganj of Kotwali-Dehat police station area, had filed a defamation case against former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi on August 4, 2018.
