Enlightening young minds at VJTF Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: VMRDA Children’s Arena in Visakhapatnam came alive during the second edition of Vizag Junior Theatre Fest (VJTF) hosted by Lit Lantern for Culture and Literature Welfare Society from November 25 to November 27.
The fest kicked off with mesmerising performances, featuring Mumbai-based artists Kunal Motling and Sandesh Sanjay and “Tara’s Trio” by Collective Madness and Conservatory for Arts and Artists, followed by adaptation of Malgudi Days by Swatantra Theatre from Pune.
On the final day of the fest on Monday, chief guest and industries minister Gudivada Amarnath commended Lit Lantern for organising a vibrant and culturally rich Vizag Junior Theatre Fest.
The minister suggested that such theatrical plays be integrated into GVMC schools’ digital classrooms owing to the educational values they bring.
The highlight of the closing day was inclusion of performances in Telugu, showcasing the fest’s commitment to embracing linguistic diversity. This layer of cultural enrichment reaffirmed Vizag Junior Theatre Fest’s role as a beacon of education and entertainment in Visakhapatnam.
