TI’s humanitarian initiative: unwell youth admitted to psychiatric hospital

Raigad. A local woman came to police station Kotwali and informed police station in-charge Inspector Shanip Ratre that her 27-year-old son’s mental condition was not right for about 3 years and told that her son had quarreled with many people in this condition, to get him treated. Please cooperate. Taking seriously the matter of the woman, the station in-charge Kotwali inspector brought the matter to the notice of the senior officers, on whose direction TI Kotwali got the young man examined by a local doctor and sent him to the Honorable CJM Court, Raigarh for necessary treatment showing that the mental condition of the young man was unwell.

A request was made to send him to a mental treatment center in Sendri. On the report of Thana Kotwali, the youth was handed over to the Kotwali police for necessary treatment by the Honorable Judge, who has been admitted to the State Mental Hospital Sendri Bilaspur Hospital today by Ranjit Bhagat, constable of Thana Kotwali.
