Kishan demands action against BRS, Congress for money flow
HYDERABAD: The Union tourism minister and state BJP president, G. Kishan Reddy, said on Thursday that leaders of both the BRS and the Congress had distributed liquor and money on a large scale in clear violation of the rules.
In a press conference, it was said that the police had behaved in a partial manner even when distributing money and liquor in front of them. Reddy instructed the Electoral Commission of India (ECI) to take serious note of the issue and initiate several actions against all those involved.
“We received reports from our cadres that the BRS and Congress activists competed among themselves in the distribution of money and liquor. However, our cadres, especially the young people from the villages, worked hard for the victory of the party’s candidates.” , said.
In some areas, the BRS leaders attacked BJP activists and unleashed terror, he said. In the name of ‘Vijaya Diwas’, the governing party intended to induce the sentiment of Telangana to win.
Reddy ridiculed the “false” campaigns that the BJP and the Congress were the same and said that, on the contrary, they could show various instances to expose the union of the Congress and the BRS.
Confident that the party would achieve good results, Reddy said that they would work with more commitment if they came to power.
