Former Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh becomes victim of cyber criminals
Noida. Former Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh and former Defense Secretary of the country Radha Krishna Mathur have been defrauded by cyber criminals in Noida. Unknown cyber thugs fraudulently made an online transaction of Rs 2,28,360 from the bank account of Radha Krishna Mathur, resident of JP Bish Town Society, Sector 128, Police Station Sector 126 area. The accused have transferred the amount from his account with the help of net banking, whereas he had neither given any of his bank information nor shared the OTP number. There is a stir in the police department due to the fraud with the former Lieutenant Governor.
Inspector Subodh Kumar, in-charge of police station Sector-126, said that former Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Radha Krishna Mathur, who lives in JP Bish Town Society, Sector-128, has lodged a report in the police station that unknown cyber criminals have accessed his account through internet banking. Two lakh 28 thousand 360 rupees have been withdrawn by fraud. He told that the victim had neither given his bank information to anyone, nor had he shared his OTP number with anyone. The station in-charge said that the police is investigating the matter after registering a report of the incident.
