Minor dies after getting stuck in lift, creates chaos
surat: A 15-year-old minor died after getting trapped in a lift in Surat, Gujarat. The police reached the spot after receiving information and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Also, the relatives of the deceased were informed about the incident. It is being told that the young man had suffocated after getting stuck between the lift and the slab. Police say that the matter is being investigated.
The matter pertains to a factory of Rupali Industries in Udhna area. A minor boy named Mangal was working here on Tuesday morning. He was going to the second floor in the lift for some work. Meanwhile, due to loss of balance, his neck got stuck in the lift. Before his friends could come to his help, Mangal became unconscious.In a hurry, friends cut the lift mesh with a cutter and took him out and took him to the hospital for treatment. But, the doctors on duty there declared Mangal dead. According to the information, the deceased Mangal Sukhbadan Singh was originally a resident of Madhya Pradesh. His family consists of parents and a sister. He left studies when his father became unemployed.
After this, 15 days ago, Mangal came to Surat to work to support the family. His uncle came to drop him off and went back to Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, Mangal stayed at his house with friends. There were 5 people living in that one room. Mangal also started earning a few rupees by working as a day laborer. But, he died after getting stuck in the lift. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
