A coin of Rs 75 will be released on the inauguration of the new Parliament House, know its features
New Delhi (IANS) | A new coin of Rs 75 will also be released at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed building of Parliament on Sunday, May 28. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will issue a new coin of 75 rupees to make the inauguration program of this new building of Parliament memorable and memorable. According to the notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the size of this new coin of Rs 75 will be 44 mm circular. Its standard weight will be 35 grams.
The obverse of the coin will bear the Lion Capital of the Ashoka Pillar in the centre, with ‘Satyamev Jayate’ written below it. On its left periphery shall be written the word ‘Bharat’ in Devanagari script and on the right periphery the word ‘India’ in English. The rupee symbol and the denominational value ’75’ in International Numerals shall also be inscribed below the Lion Capital.
The reverse side of the coin will have a picture of the Parliament House. The coin will bear the inscription ‘Sansad Sankul’ in Devanagari script on the upper periphery and ‘Parliament Complex’ in English on the lower periphery. The year ‘2023’ will be written below the picture of the Parliament Complex.
