An orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains has been issued at most places in Mahasamund, Rajnandgaon, Bastar, Kondagaon and Dantewada districts.
A yellow alert for moderate to heavy rains has been issued at most places in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Janjgir, Raipur, Balodabazar, Durg, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Sukma districts of the state. Light to moderate rain can be seen in isolated parts of Surguja, Jashpur, Korea, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Sakti, Mungeli and Korba districts.
