According to the information received, a 32-year-old man who had gone fishing in Vaitarna Gulf in Palghar district was seriously injured after his leg was bitten by a shark. Surprisingly, the ferocious shark that attacked the man has died. At present the victim is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The incident took place around 7 pm on Tuesday in the Vaitarna river area near the manor. Many people had gone fishing in the creek connected to the river, when suddenly Vicky Suresh Govari was attacked by a shark, due to which he was seriously injured. The villagers immediately took Vicky to the hospital for treatment. While some villagers started searching for the shark. Then they saw the shark’s body floating in the water. Meanwhile, Manor police team also reached the spot.
