According to the information received, Hirmati Bhagat, the wife of the injured elderly Chamru Bhagat, told that in the night, some unknown youths, claiming themselves to be policemen, forcefully entered their house in a four-wheeler shouting and kidnapped her husband Chamru. They took away the taxes and demanded money, and on not giving the money, they beat him with sticks and left him in a deserted forest. When her husband came home crying after a long time, he fainted while narrating his ordeal, who was so hurt and tortured that he was unable to speak out of fear.
On the other hand, the Sitapur police has registered a case against unknown youths under various sections of the IPC on the basis of the written report of the injured elderly’s wife Hirmati Bhagat.
