A girl reached the police station after receiving a breakup SMS, her boyfriend arrested on rape charges

Bilaspur news. A case of raping a 16-year-old girl after befriending her has come to light in Bilaspur. The young man first befriended the student through Instagram. Then he raped her by promising to marry her. On the complaint of the victim student, the police have registered a case against the accused youth and arrested him. The case is of Pachpedi Police Station area. According to the police, the 16-year-old girl studies in school. About two years ago, she got acquainted with Vishwaraj Sahu (18), son of Laxman Sahu, resident of village Loharsi, through Instagram. After which both started talking to each other. During this, the young man expressed his love and also promised to marry her.

The student told the police that during this time on 24 February 2022, Vishwaraj called her to meet. Then he took her to his friend’s house in village Manwa. There also he lured the girl to marry him and raped her. Here, the student complained to the police and said that after promising to marry her, Vishwaraj has broken off the relationship with her. He neither talks to her nor is he ready to marry her, due to which her future is uncertain. On the complaint of the student, the police have registered a case against the accused Vishwaraj and arrested him and sent him to jail.
