A leader close to the minister was beaten, now the miscreants are no longer afraid of the police

Dantewada: There was a fight with Rajkumar Tamo, a close aide of Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma and senior Congress leader of Dantewada. Some miscreants of the city beat him up. It is being told that he was being abused over the phone for the last few days. Now Dantewada city has been closed demanding the arrest of the accused. The matter is of City Kotwali police station area.

Rajkumar Tamo said that for the last several days some people were calling him and abusing him. A day before, there was a scuffle with him also. He told that along with him, the councilor of ward number 3 of Dantewada has also been abused. He has also given the audio clip of the abuse to the police. The police are not catching the accused. Therefore the city has been closed.

There is a lot of resentment among the businessmen of the city regarding this dispute with the Congress leader and councilor. Traders kept their shops closed in support of the bandh. Traders say that when incidents like assault and abuse are happening with politicians, then it is not a big deal that such incidents happen with common people. Therefore the traders have demanded the arrest of the accused soon.
