A man was roaming in the garden with a pistol hidden in his waist, caught by DD Nagar police

Raipur. DD Nagar police has arrested a person with a country-made pistol. According to the information received, the police received information from the informer that near RDA Colony, Indraprastha Garden, a person wearing a light blue full shirt was roaming around with a country-made pistol hidden in his waist. After reaching RDA Colony, Indraprastha Garden, a person of the described description was surrounded and caught.

When asked for name and address, his name was Ramnath Sen, father Late. Tukaram Sen, aged 58 years, said to be Sakin Indraprastha BSUP Colony Raipura, House No. 04, Block No. 04, Police Station DD Nagar Raipur. On searching, the person was found with an iron country-made pistol in his waist and one live cartridge in his pants pocket.

A country-made iron pistol and one live cartridge were seized from the possession of accused Ramnath Sen. Since the accused did not have any document regarding the pistol, he was duly arrested and sent on judicial remand as he was found to have committed a crime under Section 25 of the Arms Act.
