Mahasamund. A total of 130,367 farmers are registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the district. Of these, 103,983 farmers have already obtained their Farmer IDs, while 26,384 farmers still need to get theirs.
Deputy Director of Agriculture, F.R. Kashyap, stated that farmers who have not yet obtained their Farmer IDs will not receive the next installment of benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Taking this matter seriously, all remaining beneficiary farmers are urged to obtain their Farmer IDs as soon as possible. He explained that farmers who have not yet received their Farmer IDs can get them at their nearest Common Service Center (CSC). After obtaining the Farmer ID, it is mandatory to submit a copy of the B-1 slip and a copy of the Aadhaar card, along with other necessary documents, to the concerned Patwari (village revenue officer) for verification to complete the Farmer ID registration process.
He has instructed the Senior Agricultural Development Officer to conduct extensive awareness campaigns through their subordinate field staff and to directly contact the farmers who are yet to obtain their Farmer IDs to inform them about the process.
