Business Business: An American won a lottery ticket worth Rs 8 billion ($1 million) and a gold medal in early June this year after keeping that amount with him for 20 years. In Massachusetts, a man named Thomas Enscoe used a set of lucky numbers inspired by his birthday for 20 years. Still unsure whether he would win this time, Enscoe bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket from Anderson’s Variety Store in Blackstone. Thomas Enscoe accepted his $1 million (before taxes) prize at the Massachusetts Lottery headquarters in Dorchester. Notably, Anderson also had reason to celebrate Enscoe’s win. For selling the winning ticket, the store received a $10,000 prize. However, this is not his first golden period. Thomas Enscoe’s wife won $1 million on an instant ticket 20 years ago. Here’s what Thomas Enscoe will do with this big win. Reportedly Mr Enscoe plans to share his new fortune with his children and grandchildren. He hopes the Mega Millions prize of $1 million will benefit his entire family in the years to come.
