A woman who met her boyfriend was sexually assaulted by a man posing as a policeman

New Delhi: A man pretending to be a cop has recorded a video of a woman meeting her boyfriend. He then threatened her and sexually assaulted her. Recovering from the shock, the victim immediately called her boyfriend and told this matter. The incident took place in the national capital, Delhi. On the 7th of this month, there was a woman with her boyfriend in a car outside an apartment in Prashant Vihar area. A man recorded a video of the two of them on his mobile phone from the car’s side mirror. He then got out of the car and followed her into the apartment. He stopped her at the stairs and showed the woman a video of herself with her boyfriend. He threatened her saying he was a police officer. And then sexually assaulted him there. After that he slipped from there.

Meanwhile, after recovering from this shock, the victim woman immediately called her boyfriend and told this matter. Her family members also knew this. They all went to the police station and filed a complaint. The police registered the case and examined the video footage recorded by the CCTV cameras of the apartment. The accused who threatened the woman and raped her by pretending to be a police officer has been identified. After knowing his whereabouts, he was arrested. A senior police official said that the case is being investigated.
