A young man returning home after playing Holi with friends was crushed by a trailer, died

Bilaspur. After Holika Dahan in Bilaspur, a group of youths were celebrating Holi on Bilaspur-Raigarh National Highway-49. While returning after celebrating Holi, a speeding trailer hit a young man, resulting in his death on the spot. The incident took place in Masturi police station area. Vipin Suman (19), resident of village Mohtara, had gone out for Holika Dahan on Sunday night with his 15-20 friends. After Holika Dahan, the group of youth reached National Highway No. 49 at around 11.30 pm, where they were celebrating Holi by spreading colors on the square.

After the ruckus at Mohtra Chowk, all the boys started returning home at around 12.30 in the night. Vipin was near Suman Chowk, while his other friends had moved ahead. At the same time, the driver of the speeding trailer number CG 07 BC 2923 coming from Akaltara hit him hard, due to which he fell off the road.

In this accident, his head got injured and other parts of his body got seriously injured. After the incident, the youth took him to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead after examination. On the report of this matter, the police have registered a case against the trailer driver and are searching for him.
