A young man was murdered in broad daylight in the village

Kanker. There has been a stir in Kanker due to the murder of the married lover of the village girl. Even after being married, a young man found it difficult to have a love affair with a village girl. When another young man of the village came to know about the love affair with the girl, he attacked and killed the young man with a sharp weapon in a fit of rage. On the information of the villagers, the Charama police station reached the spot and conducted the panchnama of the dead body. The police have arrested the absconding accused after the incident.

This is the case of village Bhotha of Charama police station area. Omesh Baghel, a young man living here, had a love affair with a girl from the village even after being married, when another young man from the village, Lakheshwar Nishad, came to know about their love affair, he was displeased. He considered it wrong. Omesh had returned home after taking water from the tap, at the same time Lakheshwar attacked and killed Omesh with a sharp weapon in Attock Chowk of the village itself.

Station in-charge Rupendra Patel told that the police had reached the spot as soon as the information about the murder was received. The accused has been nabbed from the village itself with the help of cyber cell. Further action is being taken by registering a case of murder against the accused.
