A young woman died due to abortion, the vicious accused in the case was arrested

Pamgarh. Police has arrested the absconding accused in the case of the death of a girl due to abortion from Raigarh. Earlier, police had arrested the quack doctor who did the abortion and the main accused boyfriend and sent him to jail. The case is of Pamgarh police station. Police station in-charge SI Manohar Lal Sinha said that the girl died on 6 April in SIMS Bilaspur due to abortion. On which the diary was sent to Pamgarh police station by City Kotwali Bilaspur after registering a case. During the investigation, on collecting evidence from the relatives of the deceased, eyewitness statement, inspection of the incident spot, it was found that when the girl became pregnant, her lover Dilip Kashyap and his other companion Shrikant Kashyap took her to the clinic of quack doctor Kanhaiya Lal Sahu of Sasaha on 6 April for abortion without the consent of the girl.

Where abortion was done in a wrong way by putting her life at risk. Due to which excessive bleeding started. On which she was taken to SIMS hospital for treatment where the doctor declared her dead after examination. All the accused were absconding since the incident. On May 5, the police arrested quack doctor Kanhaiya Lal, resident of Khajri police station Bilaigarh, who carried out the abortion, and the main accused Dilip Kumar Kashyap, the girl’s lover, and sent them to jail on judicial remand. Meanwhile, the accused Shrikant Kashyap, 22 years, son of Rajkumar Kashyap, resident of Navangaon Pakaria police station Mulmula, was absconding, and the police was continuously searching for him. On receiving information that the accused was hiding in Raigarh district, a team was dispatched and with the help of the cyber cell, the accused Shrikant Kashyap was arrested and brought. The police produced him in court from where he was sent to jail.
