AAP accuses Congress of not supporting Delhi ordinance row
New Delhi (IANS) | The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday accused the Congress of not supporting its party on the ordinance row. AAP MLA Dilip Kumar Pandey tweeted that the entire opposition has shown solidarity with the party against the central government’s ordinance, but the Congress is keeping mum. People of Delhi had given mandate to AAP, but BJP created hurdles. When the Supreme Court intervened, the Center did not obey its order.
He tweeted, “Understand the chronology – 1. Delhi gave you the mandate. 2. BJP stopped the work by snatching the services. 3. AAP won in the Supreme Court. 4. The Center did not accept the decision. 5. A black ordinance was introduced. 6. This ordinance is dictatorial. 7. The entire opposition is against it. 8. What is the problem only with the Congress, friends?
The AAP leader said he has learned from reliable sources that the Congress will stage a walkout from Parliament when the opposition opposes the ordinance. He urged the Congress leadership to clarify its stand on the issue.
