AAP fed up with opponents’ hoardings, started action

Ludhiana. Municipal Corporation Commissioner has given instructions to remove hoardings installed illegally in the metropolis. This decision is being linked to the Municipal Corporation elections, because earlier a large number of hoardings have been put up by Aam Aadmi Party leaders.

Under the guise of no action being taken on these hoardings, leaders of other parties have started putting up their own hoardings, because if their hoardings are removed then they can protest by making an issue of the ruling party’s hoardings being put up. But in this matter, the number of hoardings of opposition parties has increased significantly, action will now be taken to remove them.
The order in this regard has been issued by the Commissioner to the concerned officers, now it remains to be seen whether the hoardings of Aam Aadmi Party leaders are also removed or not.

In the order issued by the Commissioner in this regard, it has been cited that complaints have been received from many organizations regarding direction boards, parks and hoardings installed on government property. Before removing the hoardings, their photographs will be taken and a report will be sent to the police to register a case under the Defiance of Public Property Act. It has even been mentioned in this order that the expenses incurred on removing these hoardings will be recovered from the people who put them up, which the Municipal Corporation teams have started implementing late on Tuesday night.
