Aashiqui 3: This South actress will be in lead role with Karthik Aryan

Karthik Aryan is a well-known actress of Bollywood, till now he has given more than one hit films like Bhoolbhalaiyya, Luka Chuppi to Bollywood. It has been almost a year since Kartik Aaryan announced to be a part of the musical franchise Aashiqui with Aashiqui 3. Since then, names of many actresses have come forward to work with him in the film, but the producers never confirmed any of them. Now a new name has emerged in the race to become Kartik Aryan’s heroine in Aashiqui 3.
Producer Mukesh Bhatt had said that he is not looking for any popular name for the actress in Aashiqui 3. Rather they are looking for a fresh face. Akanksha Sharma is being considered for the lead role opposite Kartik Aryan in the film. A source close to the film shared, “Akanksha has held several meetings with the makers of the film and there is a possibility that things may be finalised. Akansha is a new face and the makers of Aashiqui are always on the lookout for new pairings, be it Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal or Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

Akansha Sharma has worked mainly in the Kannada industry in the South. Her Hindi credits include the music videos of Disco Dancer 2.0 and Casanova with Tiger Shroff. She was also a part of the viral song Jugnu along with Badshah. Before that there was a rumor that Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were approached for Aashiqui 3. But these news turned out to be false. Karthik had announced the film on September 5, 2022 with Anurag Basu as the director. Since then, there has been no major development on the film.
