Aastha Sharma rehearsed for 16 hours to learn dance

Mumbai (IANS). Actress Aastha Sharma, who played the role of Neerja in ‘Neerja…Ek Nayi Pehchan’, had to practice for 16 hours continuously because she was a non-dancer.

Talking about her performance in the show, Aastha said, “I needed dance practice. It is not easy to present yourself as a great dancer on camera when you are not a good dancer. The dance moves can be very challenging for people who are not dancers, but I had to rise to the occasion.”

He further added, “I had switched off my phone and I had to rehearse the sequence for 16 hours straight. I’m surprised that I found dancing fun, and I was unnecessarily scared. I am happy that I have acquired a new skill through this show.

“I would like to thank the choreographer for being patient with me and making me feel comfortable while I was learning the moves.

The day I shot this sequence felt like an ordeal. I am happy that all my efforts were successful.
