Hyderabad: Intermediate student commits suicide after failing in two subjects

Hyderabad: A teenager, upset over his inability to clear his intermediate exams, allegedly committed suicide at his house in Keshampet on Monday night. In the recently declared results, the 18-year-old student, who was pursuing intermediate second year electrical technology (vocational), had failed in two subjects. He was upset over this for the past few days and committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan in his room with a belt. His family members found him hanging from the noose when they returned home at night and immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Keshampet police are investigating.
