Accused arrested in illegal liquor case
Sirohi. Sirohi police, while taking action against illegal liquor transportation in Mandar near Revdar on Wednesday night, seized an Innova car. Also, 14 cartoons of illegal English liquor were recovered and a supplier was arrested.
Station in-charge Harisingh Rajpurohit said that as part of the campaign being run against illegal liquor transportation on the instructions of SP Jyestha Maitreyi, a number Innova car going towards Gujarat was stopped and investigated during the blockade at Tolnaka Mandar on Wednesday night. 14 cartoons of English liquor of different brands were found being transported in secret boxes without any valid license and permit.
Police arrested Vikram son of Harchandram, resident of Dhumbadiya (Sanchaur) and seized the car. Besides, research and inquiry is also being done regarding other suppliers. During this time, police station officer Hari Singh Rajpurohit, ASI Mohanlal, constables Kuldeep Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Arun Singh, Hanuman Ram contributed in the action.
