Accused arrested with 30 liters of Mahua liquor

Raigarh. On the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Sadanand Kumar, the previous action on illegal liquor has been continued by the police stations. Action has been taken against 16 persons under the Excise Act in the last 09 days under the leadership of Thana Capital Path Inspector Harshvardhan Singh Bais. Yesterday also the team of Capital Pathra Police conducted a liquor raid at the house of Ujjalpur resident Shyam Kaser alias Shubham. TI Capitalpathra was informed that Shyam Kaser sells liquor illegally at home.

The police station in-charge immediately sent the team for liquor raid to Ujjwalupar. About 30 liters of Mahua liquor worth Rs.3000 kept in the possession of the accused in the courtyard of his house has been seized by the police team. Accused accused Shyam alias Shubham Kaser father late Netram Kaser age 24 years Sakin Ujjalpur police station Kapipathara police station Kapipathra has been produced under section 34(2)59(a) of the Excise Act in the court. Assistant sub-inspectors Jairam Sidar, Vijay Ekka, constables Umashankar Bhagat, Pradeep Chauhan and Sanjeev Toppo were involved in the liquor raid proceedings.
