Accused arrested with illegal liquor

Raipur: Today, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Mandir Hassaud, the team of police station Mandir Hassaud arrested the accused Amrit Verma alias Amrit, father of Late, near village Mungesar canal crossing under Mandir Hassaud area. Mansing Verma, age 25 years, resident of village Mungesar near Durga Mandir, Police Station Mandir Hasaud, District Raipur, arrested and illegally kept 32 pav of English liquor worth Rs 3840/- from his possession and seized crime number 290/24 in Police Station Mandir Hasaud against the accused. An offense under Section 34(2) of the Excise Act was registered and action was taken.
