Accused of murderous attack and robbery arrested
Jaipur: Chaumun police station took action on Friday in the case of assault and robbery with a shopkeeper and arrested the accused history-sheeter. The accused history-sheeter was absconding for about 10 days. Taking action, the police arrested the accused history-sheeter Vishal Gaura alias Dhiru Bhai from Ringas district Sikar.
Police station in-charge Amit Sharma said that on August 20, 2023, the victim Shankarlal Yadav, resident of Jodhpura, while filing a report at the police station, said that at around 5 pm he suddenly reached a tea shop outside a private hospital on Jaipur Road. Vishal Gaura resident Amarpura. Then Guddu Gaura and another person came with him and started asking for money for liquor.
They took the cigarette packets without paying and when he asked for money, the accused assaulted the tea shopkeeper and fatally attacked him with a knife. Due to which the tea shopkeeper was injured. Local people admitted the injured tea shopkeeper to the hospital for treatment. During this time, the accused escaped with the goods kept in the shop, about four thousand rupees and cigarette packets. Police registered the case and while investigating, arrested two accused Dharmendra Jat alias Guddu Gaura and Mahendra Nitharwal and sent them to jail. The accused history-sheeter Vishal Gaura alias Dhiru Bhai (23), son of Prahlad Jat, resident of Narlora, Dhani Amarpura Samod, who was absconding after switching off his mobile phone for about 10 days, has been arrested. In this entire police action, constable Narendra Singh of the special team and constable Mahesh had a special role. The police is busy interrogating the arrested history-sheeter accused. More than 12 cases are registered against the accused history-sheeter in various police stations.
