Accused who murdered wife arrested

Gorakhpur: In Gorakhpur district, Chiluatal police arrested husband Satyanarayan, accused of murdering his wife Sushila over suspicion of her character. He was presented in the court from where he was sent to jail. The police had registered a case of murder on the complaint of son Rajendra. The accused has reiterated his doubt about his character during interrogation. According to the information, Satyanarayan lives with his wife Sushila and children in house number 111 in Block 2 allotted under the PM Awas Yojana in Manbela. Satyanarayan works as a paint polisher in Mumbai. He came home during Diwali. It is alleged that ever since he arrived he started doubting his wife’s character.

If his wife used to laugh and talk to someone, he would misunderstand her. There were often disputes between the two regarding this. It is alleged that on Saturday the wife was talking to someone on mobile phone. Meanwhile, when Satyanarayan asked for a glass of water, his wife did not pay attention. Angered by this, he attacked with a sword. After attacking the body at several places, he attacked the neck, due to which he died. SP North Manoj Awasthi said that a case has been registered and the accused has been sent to jail. Police will file chargesheet with evidence.
