Acres of agricultural land under water due to breach in embankment in Athagarh

Athagarh: Acres of agricultural land has been submerged due to breach in an embankment near Athagarh, said reports on Thursday.

According to reports, agricultural land in Dhurusia Panchayat in Athagara Block of Cuttack District is reeling under water.

There has been a breach in the embankment of Sapua river and a 2o-feet-deep breach has been formed.

The locals are tensed and scared due to this situation. The Athagarh sub -collector has reached the spot and is taking a stock of the situation.
